Real matter
Welcome to the section for real matter. If you're tired of flat posters and characterless digital copies, then you've come to the right place. At doctor-lurch.clinic, we don't just curate art; we curate matter that refracts light and endures through time.
Why mother-of-pearl cardboard?
This is no ordinary paper. We're talking about an absolute rarity: screen prints on pearlescent cardstock from the 1980s. This material is over 40 years old.
-
The effect: Mother-of-pearl is an organic shell layer that creates an iridescent sheen. As soon as light hits the object, the material begins to react – the colors dance and change depending on the viewing angle.
-
The character: The material has an almost fossil-like appearance. It looks solid, elegant, and has a texture that you can not only see but also feel.
-
Durability: Even after more than 40 years, the color reproduction is as vibrant as on the first day. The shimmer doesn't fade – it simply waits for the next ray of light.
The Legend of the Printing Table
My friend Tommy printed these treasures himself back then. And the old master still ponders the results today.
When an expert still gets misty-eyed after decades, you know: This isn't commerce, this is passion on cardboard.
